Nursing Foals: Feed 0.25 to 1 kg of Mare and Foal Pellets per 100 kg bodyweight, according to the mare’s milk production and the foal’s development.
Weanlings: Feed 1 to 1.5 kg of Mare and Foal Pellets per 100 kg bodyweight along with good quality grassy mind forage. Feed according to development and the quality of hay or grass. Genetic different es, management and owners goal for growth will alter the amount that should be fed. Closely monitor the foal’s development and adjust accordingly.
